“SUNRISE TO SUNSET” Pentwater - A West Michigan Jewel on Lake Michigan A visit to Pentwater Michigan will become a delightful memory for you! While we think our little village which is located between Muskegon and Ludington on the West Michigan shoreline is ideal for a place to live, it is also a perfect destination to vacation and enjoy the town and it’s many wonderful features. The Charles Mears State Park with its beautiful beach is just a short walk to the downtown stores for shopping and is a fine place to camp, relax and take a swim in the “Big Lake”. If you like the out of doors, then this is a village where you can walk, ride bikes, canoe / kayak, swim, fish, climb Old Baldy Sand Dune, try the forest trails and ski paths, or just plan chat with the friendly people you will find here. Be sure to bring your camera to capture memorable pictures from Sunrise to Sunset, family photos on the beach and harbor piers or perhaps take a town walk using the Pentwater Historical Society’s tour map of homes with outstanding gardens which are available at the Chamber of Commerce office on main street. By the way, our quaint Museum located behind the Village Hall is open on Monday, Thursday and Saturday from 2:00 P.M. to 5:00 P.M. and features the local Pentwater history.
