| Brews & Beats Craft Beer, Wine, and Cider Festival (Saturday of Labor Day) Brews & Beats is a Craft Beer, Wine, and Cider Festival in Pentwater. It will be a celebration of Michigan craft beverages and music. Breweries from all around the state will be showcasing a wide variety of specialty brews. Brews & Beats will create a relaxed atmosphere focused on great beer, local businesses and excellent music. The summer party vibe is the perfect way to enjoy the holiday weekend. Enjoy live performances from The Drew Hale Band, yard games, and food trucks all while sampling beverages from over 20 Michigan’s best breweries. Locals and visitors alike will be excited to celebrate the extended weekend while enjoying the finest beverages in the area. The outdoor venue of the Village Green in the heart of downtown with lake views is the perfect place for all to come enjoy this new tradition in Pentwater. This is an event not to be missed. Brews & Beats will take place under a heated event tent so everyone will be comfortable regardless of weather. |
| Homecoming Celebration-2nd full weekend in August (weekend starts on Thursday) Homecoming creates an exciting atmosphere focused on family, traditions, and all things Pentwater. Local and visitors love to come “home” to celebrate Pentwater each summer. During Homecoming, over 10,000 local and visitors travel to Pentwater eager to participate in the festivities. Traditional activities include the Pentwater Farmers Market, Strawberry Shortcake Social, Les Bailey Memorial Concert, Sand Sculpture Contest, Alumni Golf Outing, Horseshoe Tournament, Big 10 Tailgate Party, Grand Parade, Fireworks, and Pancake Breakfast. |

| Oktoberfest- 2nd Saturday in October Fall colors will be peaking in Pentwater during the second Friday & Saturday of October creating the perfect backdrop for the 25th Annual Oktoberfest in Pentwater. Locals and visitors love to visit Pentwater for their favorite event of the Fall. The event has many activities for all to enjoy. Traditional events include the Classic Car and Hot Rod Show, Stout Stumble 5K, Entertainment Tent, Live Music, Food Trucks, COVE Home Tours, Comedy Night, Chili Cook Off, Oktoberfest Raffle and more! The Classic Car & Hot Rod Show is a must see. Hancock Street closes and car enthusiasts travel from all over Michigan to showcase their prized possessions. With more entries than ever in 2020, the Car Show’s popularity continues to grow. In 2021, the Pentwater Chamber of Commerce will be hosting the 2nd Annual Stout Stumble 5K Run & Walk. Participants will join us at the Pentwater Municipal Marina where they will begin the race. They will then weave through the beautiful Village of Pentwater ending at the Entertainment Tent on the Village Green for a celebratory beer and awards presentation. On the Village Green, the Pentwater Chamber of Commerce will host the Entertainment Tent. Oktoberfest attendees will enjoy delicious food, seasonal beverages, live music and more. The Oktoberfest Entertainment Tent will contribute to the Pentwater Chamber of Commerce’s long term goal to grow and enhance all events in order to further support our membership. We aim to make each event to encompass more of the downtown so all businesses in the area benefit. |
| Spooktacular-Saturday before or on Halloween Spooktacular creates a fun, safe way for families to celebrate the holiday. Locals and visitors enjoy fun fall activities in the heart of downtown Pentwater. Spooktacular offers a Halloween event that focuses on community and family. Traditional Spooktacular activities include a costume contest for all ages, treat bags, kid games, pumpkin painting, face painting, trick or treating with the downtown merchants and a spooky scavenger hunt. |
